Kwak Sang Won (Kwak Jae): CHAPTER II WINDOW | Connection

Kwak Sang Won expresses the unfamiliar gap that arises between humans who can only belong to a realistic system and those who refuse to settle for the comfort offered by such a reality.

In the work, the author reflects the desire to find the truth within the contrasting images of two individuals facing each other and the countless connections entangled between them through numerous lines.

Kwak Sang Won graduated from the Korean National University of Arts and held solo exhibitions at Gallery Chosun (2017), Cheongju Art Studio (2019), and Art Space HUE (2019). He is actively participating in exhibitions at various institutions, including Space Ohnewall (2016), Kumho Art Museum (2016), Jang Wookjin Art Museum (2018), Seongnam Art Center (2018), and Umin Art Center (2019).
