CHAPTER II offers a residency programme to encourage potential artists to concentrate on their artistic activities under a stable condition. CHAPTER II Residency selects 3 artists every year and supports their creative development at the individual studios located in Yeonnam-dong, Mapo-gu in Seoul.
CHAPTER II Residency values the artists’ liberal and independent approaches of producing. We aim to construct a place of wide-ranging exchanges among artists by hosting various programmes such as exhibitions of resident artists. Our direction is building a new discourse of Contemporary Art. Also, we pursue playing a significant role as a representative cultural space, communicating with the local society through art.
