Thick Images: Goo Gi Jeong, Byun Chae Young, Song Seung Eun

Chapter II is pleased to present Thick Images, a group exhibition featuring works by Goo Gi Jeong, Byun Chae Young, Song Seung Eun at its Yeonnam-dong exhibition space from January 30 to March 10, 2026.

The exhibition explores how the artists’ observations, formed within a post-digital society—where digital technology is no longer perceived as a “new medium” but has become the very foundation of everyday life and artistic practice—are projected through distinct formal languages. Rather than directly representing digital environments, the three artists attend to the conditions that emerge after technology has permeated sensation, image, memory, and the body, each engaging with these transformed states in their own way.
